Duranium

History

First discovered in 1969, Compound t-14 or Duranium as it was marketed is a titanium based treated alloy which became very commonly used by parahumans and military alike. Duranium is not only light but tough, highly durable and highly resistant to corrosion and generally superior to both steel and titanium.

The production of duranium is a closely kept secret by Walden Foundry Incorporated but it is generally known that titanium is alloyed with several other elements and then go through a special treatment to give it its additional properties. Duranium is a dull light gray color.

Additional Properties:

  • Non-magnetic
  • Non-poisonous
  • Has poor heat and electrical conductivity
  • Melts at over 4000 degrees Fahrenheit
